Finland in Mexico. Documentary Season

From February 10th to 12th, DocsDF and the International Documentary Film Festival of Helsinki (DocPoint), in collaboration with the Cineteca Nacional (National Cinemateque), the Finnish Film Foundation and the Ibero-American Institute of Finland, present «Finland in Mexico. Documentaries Season». An effort that aims to encourage the cultural exchange and strengthening of the bonds between our nations, thorough a selection of the best works of renown filmmakers from those lands, which has the purpose to approach the Mexican audience to a distant reality.

The sample will include the presence of the filmmakers Iris Olsson, Joonas Berghäll and Katja Gauriloff, who will be present in the screening of their works and will give lectures and conferences at the Cinematographic Training Center (CCC) and the Universitary Center of Cinematographic Studies (CUEC).
